Here is some uncommon action of a Deniliquin grain trains at Laverton.
The train ran to Deniliquin via Laverton and this meant that I was able to see it. This service had 40 empty hopper cars. The service then ran back to Geelong with loaded hoppers.
The trains have 3 XR class locomotives that are used are on BG (1600 mm) and are often used to haul grain trains around Victoria.
