Kisima School offers secondary education to children and young people who would otherwise not be able to get this opportunity.
Most of the students come from the four districts of Northern Kenya that Kisima Pastoralists' Centre is targeting, but we also take some students from other regions of Kenya.
The reasons for doing this are:
To promote integration between the communities of Northern Kenya and wider Kenyan society
To make the project relevant to the community in the neighbourhood of the school
To address the needs of young people from other districts of Kenya
