For translation click show more.The Opera was completed by his former pupil Matteo Salvi with the help of Amilcare Ponchielli, Antonio Bazzini and Cesare Domeniceti. with help from from his notes after Donizetti's death. It is nevertheless a beautiful aria and Gloriously Sung by a younger Pavarotti in his prime. recorded June 1968.
