Our 11th stop of our 2025 Season Review Series sees us going down South as we discuss the Texas Rangers!
Gaz is joined on this one by Texas Rangers fan - Jeremy Martinez!
The Rangers had a bang average season in 2025 - finishing 3rd in the AL West with a record of 81-81!
It was a tale of two sides for the Rangers in 2025, with amazing pitching being let down quite massively by the offense!
The pitching was led on the mound by future HOF Jacob DeGrom and long-time stalwart Nathan Eovaldi and these guys were backed up in a massive way by the bullpen. Phil Maton, Jacob Webb and Hoby Milner to name just a few really contributed to the Rangers late on in games!
Alas on the positional side, the Rangers were struck by the injury bug which prevented only a handful of players from playing more than 120 games.
Evan Carter led the team in HRs but the usual suspects such as Jonah Heim and Adolis Garcia were nowhere to be seen with the bat!
So what does 2026 have in store for the Rangers? Following on from the Brandon Nimmo trade there is a new look to the Rangers this year - is this another rebuild year or will they look to capitalise on a middling AL Wildcard picture?
