Watch Dogs: Legion (stylized as WATCH DOGS LΞGION) is an open-world action-adventure third-person video game developed by Ubisoft Toronto and published by Ubisoft. It is the third installment in the Watch Dogs series. It was released on October 29, 2020, seven months behind its originally scheduled release date of March 6, 2020.

The game is set in the near future, where London is facing its downfall: the people are being oppressed by an all-seeing surveillance state, private militaries control the streets, and a powerful crime syndicate is preying on the vulnerable. The fate of London lies with DedSec, and the player's ability to recruit a resistance and fight back.

Aiden Pearce (also known as The Vigilante and The Fox) is the main protagonist of Watch Dogs, a minor character in Watch Dogs 2, a playable character in Watch Dogs: Legion and one of the two main protagonists (alongside Wrench) of the DLC Bloodline. He is the overall main protagonist of the Watch Dogs series, since he has appeared in all three games.

He is a highly skilled grey hat hacker who has access to the CTOS of Chicago using a highly specialized device, the Profiler. Because his actions led to a family tragedy, Aiden has taken to a personal crusade against the powers that be. His obsession with security, surveillance, and control borders on the paranoid and dangerous, extending to monitoring his own family (unbeknownst to them).
