Описание: For Galway 2020's EYE on the Edge festival, The Black Gate curated and produced a series of visually stunning short concerts featuring some of the most compelling artists in Ireland. Shot in black & white and filmed at beautiful locations in Galway city and county, the series covers a diverse range of genres and styles ranging from the melodic indie of NewDad to the passionate punk of Turnstiles and the lyrical folk of Maija Sofia.

The Curly Organ (AKA Donal McConnon) is a special kind of artist - as comfortable in the recording studio as in a field performing non-verbal musical conversations with strangers. Perhaps better known as a key component of the nationally-loved prog-folk outfit My Fellow Sponges, The Curly Organ has taken much of the spontaneous energy and genre-fusing acrobatics of that band and distilled them into a truly unique live experience - one in which he takes the audience gently by the hand and guides them calmly through a museum of human experiences, both the extreme and the banal. The Curly Organ is eager to do more than put on a show: he aims for catharsis, both for himself and his audience.
