Описание: On May 11, 2016, Duke University reopened the iconic chapel after a year-long, $19 million restoration. The undertaking included extensive work on the ceiling, roof, woodwork and stained glass windows. Julian Abele, the first African American graduate of the architecture program at U Penn in 1902, was the chief architect and designer of this beautiful gothic structure.
