Hello YouTube! I am an apostate of the Mormon church and proud of it! I left 20 years ago and continued dissociating, just as they taught me to do since birth, for about another decade. I met the love of my life and that is when things started to shift for me. He and my girls changed my whole life and I feel like a completely different person on this part of my healing journey.
After I had my second daughter five years ago, my health was impacted severely and I'm working harder than ever to heal myself. I found out after she was born that we have a condition called hypermobile Ehlers Danlos in our family. I met the criteria for the diagnosis but went through hell trying to find someone in mainstream healthcare to help me.
I hope that I can give hope and encouragement to anyone else out there who may have felt in any way that I have. It is my joy and pleasure to live another long lasting, wonderful day!
