Today shooting one of the most beautiful .22LR factory rifles made.
Anschutz 1710 D KL. 23" medium taper barrel. Match 54 bolt action. Tight, crisp single stage trigger. Monte Carlo oiled Walnut stock. Beautiful deep luster blued steel.
RWS R50. A worthy round for such a fine rifle.
Three groups and 25 bull target.
20-25 rounds were fired prior to camera on for sighting in and fouling barrel.
Ejection noted to require a robust bolt cycling.
While a front rest is not the intended firing set up, it worked reasonably well.
Flawless, comfortable and gratifying each round shot.
