Описание: It's sad to say, but a lot of roofers cut corners. Roofing is all about small details that, when done right, leave you with a quality roof that will protect your home for a long time.

One of the ways that roofers cut corners is by doing less thorough inspections. The problem is, if you aren't thorough, you usually end up with surprises down the road. We don't want any surprises for you or for us, so we take the extra care upfront to know what to expect.

So, what is the "easy way" of inspecting a roof?

Well, you can get a satellite or drone image of the roof, or even just "take a guess" from the street (Honestly, some guys do that... there are A LOT of unprofessional roofers out there).

Getting a satellite image is quick and easy. But it doesn't give you the whole picture and can't catch those little details that are so important. For example, we show an exposed staple in this video that you would never be able to see from a satellite.

Let's say that staple has been exposed for 10 years. That's 10 years of water dripping into the plywood underneath... which means 10 years of wood rot... which means we'll probably need to replace that sheet of plywood.

Replacing that plywood isn't a big deal for us, we do it every day. But what is a big deal is spending thousand of dollars extra on your roof that you weren't expecting because your roofer took a shortcut on the inspection.

Let's be honest. Does an in person inspection cost us extra time and money? Yes, it does. Is it still the right thing to do? Absolutely. That extra time and attention up front means that we're prepared to do an excellent job, and you know exactly what to expect before we start work.
