Here’s a number that I’ve been meaning to redo for a long time now. Thanks Louise Parker for requesting it!
This is in my personal all time favourites of his for the instrumentation alone; the arrangement is so, so well done on the record, not to mention that his vocal performance strikes a perfect balance of bold yet vulnerable as only a singer with such a signature style as his could achieve. I can only DREAM to match that. But, I do hope you find this version at least 1/10th as soothing on the ears as The Maestro’s definitive take. I’m getting chills up my spine just thinking about it.
