Описание: On December 13, 2025 the great bassist Dennis Carroll and I gave a concert at ProMusica in Chicago. Dennis is one of Chicago's most valued musical treasures, and has been a friend and influence on me for quite a long time. It's always such a musical adventure to play duets with Dennis, and the music often goes off in varied and unexpected directions. Spontaneity was the name of the game for this concert. Forget rehearsing, we didn't even have the tunes picked out before we started! That's when the fun starts when you're playing with a musician like Dennis. We've performed duo in a wide variety of settings over many years, and we were both really happy with how the recordings of this concert came out!

Pro Musica is a high-end audio store in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, run by legendary audio engineer Ken Christianson. Ken occasionally hosts concerts in the store, and professionally records them using his excellent equipment. I also filmed the concert with my iPhone. This video (assembled by Joey Skoch), blends Ken's beautiful audio recording of the concert with my iPhone footage. Hope you enjoy the sights and sounds!

PS This gig was a few weeks before Christmas, hence the colored lights being projected on our faces...'twas the season!
