This record features 2 Zarah Leander songs peformed by the Erhard Bauschke orchestra with Horst Winter as the features singer : "Wen ich liebe" (lit. I really like this charming version of this well known Zarah Leander song. Horst Winter once again proves his talents as a singer.... Erhard Bauschke (1912-45) was a very talented bandleader who was part of the James Kok Orchestra... When Kok was no longer allowed to work in Germany (in 1935) the remaining musicians elected Bauschke to be the new bandleader... The orchestra made many fine recordings for the Grammophon/Polydor laben. Unfortunately Erhard Bauschke's career was cut short by the outbreak of the Second World War and his early death in october 1945 in Berlin...

The video features Zarah Leander, starting with an album of Zarah Leander songs from the late 1930s, several pictures as well as a publicity from a Belgian movie magzaine from 1938. The rest of the video consists of newsreel footage of Zarah Leander : im Amsterdam in 1938 and at the premiere of "Heimat" in Stockholm that same year....
