Follow through with us as the Dallas Airmotive guys disassemble a pair of Pratt & Whitney 545A's for the Hot Section Inspection. We try to discuss each of the components and their function as they are removed.
Starring Scott Jett, Todd Wheeler, and Bill Craig of Dallas Airmotive with narrator Kevin Lacey.
The engines are installed on an eight passenger Cessna Citation 560 Excel.
The Pratt & Whitney 545A Hot Section Inspection is performed at 2500 hour intervals, while the complete engine is overhauled at 5000 hour intervals.
