1. Prepare the natural hair: The natural hair should be clean, dry, and free of any tangles or knots. It is recommended to wash and condition the hair before installing the extensions.

2. Section the hair: Divide the natural hair into small, horizontal sections using a comb. Clip the upper sections out of the way to make it easier to work on one section at a time.

3. Create a base: Braid each section of hair into small, tight cornrows close to the scalp. The size and number of braids will depend on how many wefts of hair you are going to install.

4. Measure and cut the weft: Measure the weft of hair against the braids to determine the length needed. Cut the weft to match the length of the braids.

5. Sew the weft onto the braids: Using a curved sewing needle and thread that matches the color of the weft, sew the weft onto the braids. Start sewing from one end of the weft and work your way to the other end, making sure to secure the weft tightly to the braids.

6. Repeat the process: Continue to measure, cut, and sew additional wefts of hair onto the braids until you have achieved the desired fullness and length.

7. Blend and style: Once all the wefts are securely attached, blend the natural hair with the extensions by brushing or styling them together. You can also trim or style the extensions to achieve the desired look.

8. Maintenance: To maintain the weft hair extensions, avoid using heat styling tools excessively and be gentle when brushing or styling the hair. It is also recommended to have the extensions reinstalled every 6-8 weeks to prevent damage to the natural hair.
