How to throw a ginger jar using 4 Lbs of Laguna Frost Porcelain

I usually only throw small things with Laguna Frost, like mugs and bowls. I've decided to throw a ginger jar, which is a little bit larger than my usual. The clay was very soft which makes it difficult to throw. My tip for throwing with this porcelain is to do it as fast as you can. That way it doesn’t get a change of absorbing water too fast. Also I use two metal ribs to compress the walls; this will prevent any cracks. Also when I throw a larger piece, I use a torch to dry the piece and hold its shape before I’m done throwing. I didn’t need to use the torch on this one but almost.😄
The reason why I stick with porcelain is because I like challenges and also because it’s so white and translucent. I also like the feel and sound of porcelain.
