What makes Penn stand out more than other centers is the fact that we have 6 providers doing reconstruction. This multidisciplinary team we have includes oncologists, radiation doctors, and pathologists.

At Penn, we're always pushing the boundaries and thinking about problems in a more challenging way.

We don't feel like we've accomplished anything just by removing cancer and performing an average reconstruction. This, to us, is not a job well done. When a patient doesn't even realize that they've actually undergone major head and neck cancer surgery--that's when we know we've succeeded.
