In the perfect tense, actions are shown as
completed. It is formed using has / have / had + past participle.
In active voice, the subject performs the action.
In passive voice, the subject receives the action,
and the focus shifts to what was done rather than who did it.
Examples:
Active (Present Perfect):
She has completed the homework.
Passive (Present Perfect):
The homework has been completed (by her).
Active (Past Perfect):
They had finished the project.
Passive (Past Perfect):
The project had been finished (by them).
Key idea:
Active voice emphasizes the doer, while passive voice emphasizes the action or result.
