Описание: A mainline train is working its way off the yard lead in onto the mainline. Meanwhile farther down the line a UP Local is pulling to a stop in the siding to let it pass.The mainline train hadn’t entered the block yet so the signal was set for the Local to proceed .When the switch tried to change back to the normal position for the mainline train something went wrong and it wouldn’t work.The crew of the local put it from CTC to Manuel to try to get it to switch but it wouldn’t budge.They alerted the crew of the train but it was too late.
