The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it killed five senior Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Force officials linked to Hezbollah in an overnight strike on the Ramada Hotel in Beirut. According to the IDF, a warning was issued before the strike, allowing most people in the hotel to evacuate. The military said those killed included a senior Quds Force–Hezbollah intelligence liaison, a Palestinian intelligence figure, and a key official responsible for financing Hezbollah operations.
