PRICHARD, Ala. (WPMI) Candles, banners and stuffed animals lay in remembrance of an 8-year-old girl found dead in Prichard.
Tears, prayers and disbelief filled the atmosphere when authorities confirmed Hiawayi Robinson had been found dead.
A girl who identified herself as Hiawai's best friend came to the staging area in support of her friend.
She was a nice person, and I'm a tell her I love her, but Jesus loved her more," said the girl.
A friend of the family tells Local 15's Christian Jennings Hiawayi would have turned 9-years-old next week.
