LONDON IN LOCKDOWN: 50 minutes of footage from London's first COVID-19 lockdown May 2020

Описание: Do you remember the lockdowns? Months and months of closed shops and pubs, with limitations to your life like we have never had before. I was lucky enough to live fairly central at the time, and as a filmmaker, it was my duty to take the camera out and document these times. This was around May, when we were slowly allowed to do a little more.

I spent my days walking around the central London streets, taking in the silence and absence of people. I quite liked it. It took a lot of getting used to, when people suddenly started to fill the streets again later in the year.

Here I walk one of my walks, from Elephant and Castle which still has the beautiful Shopping Centre, East Street Market, to the South Bank, where you see the Thames and Parliament, up to Trafalgar Square and Leicester Square.

Then I walk to Soho and Oxford Street, on to Fleet Street, St Pauls and the City of London, ending on London Bridge again.

I'm currently going through all my old hard drives and compiling footage of B- Roll of cities I have been to or of London in order to preserve the history of unused footage.
