The Bloop 4 ultralight flies in November 2019 to check out its motor. This paramotor engine (Moster 185) has been flying on various Bloop versions since 2011. You can hear the engine faltering a little, it needs some work, but the plane can still get around the pattern.
Keep an eye on the rudder and elevator to see what the pilot is trying to do, because the Bloop has no ailerons. This plane is a motorfloater, flying as slow as possible at a very low wing loading. I see these motorfloaters as different from all other airplanes. They are slow, not just for the elegance of slow flight, but to get benefits that pilots would want at any speed, including easy operation, control, comfort, and safety. There is no commercial version, it's a home built ultralight airplane (conforming to FAR Part 103).
