More than a decade ago, Cynthia and I founded Green School. We knew then that we had to have Balinese kids in the school. In order to achieve our mission of making the world sustainable, we need to bridge local wisdom and global thinking.
The Local Scholarship Program started with a few students, and now 77 of them we have supported with a Green School education.
These kids are nurtured as changemakers every day in their communities. They remind me that there is hope for all of us, and all of them.
