In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Beatles’ fourth album and the 15th anniversary of our favorite rhythm game, the entirety of Beatles for Sale is now available to play in The Beatles: Rock Band on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii! Recorded at the height of Beatlemania, the album saw the band with little time to create new material, and consequently features several well-rehearsed covers and other older songs. What new songs the group did provide pushed the band’s music in novel directions, featuring deeper lyrics and country-influenced arrangements. These combined elements make Beatles for Sale a unique entry in the band’s catalog with plenty of underrated songs and instrumentals for Rock Band players to enjoy.


This release consists of the thirteen Beatles for Sale tracks not featured on-disc, including an updated version of the previously released custom “Rock and Roll Music”. Instrument charts range from breezy fun to more challenging efforts in the rock and roll covers the band knew intimately well. The pack also boasts some of the strongest visuals yet seen in custom releases, with improved lip sync and strikingly dynamic camera cuts. Other highlights include a new dedicated outfit set for the in-studio and dreamscape segments, the return of the multi-venue feature, and a brand new harmonica model!
