Asaba - Yesterday, the Delta State People's Democratic Party PDP, held their state PDP congress in Asaba, cenotaph where party leaders, delegates and party faithful converged to elect a new state working committee, SWC, where Olorogun Barr Kingsley Esiso was vehemently re-elected as the state PDP Chairman.

The newly elected state PDP Chairman, Olorogun (Barr) Kingsley Esiso who spoke to news men after his victory, expressed profound gratitude to God Almighty for making this a blessing and historical for every peace loving PDP faithful in the state.

He specially thanked the following PDP Leaders, former Governor of Delta State, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, Chief Ighoyota Amori, Prof Sam Oyovbaire, Gen Dominic Oleyah, Prof Amos Otuama, Chief Ogumah, Olorogun Terry Noah, Sheriff Oborivwori, Mary Iyasere, Benjamin Elue, Chief Godwin Obielum and specifically thankful for his boss, Sen. (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, the Executive Governor of Delta State.

Subsequently, he expressed warm rewards and appreciation to all party delegates, PDP women and party faithful, for their prayers and support during and after the exercise.

According to Esiso, he said, PDP is a big family and one of the most united political party in Africa, As he expressed joy and happiness towards the total victory of all members contested for various positions.

However, the newly elected State PDP Chairman, Olorogun (Barr) Kingsley Esiso, on behalf of all elected state PDP working committee, accepted and thanked all party leaders for the task and responsibility given to them to improve on the existing capacity and peace in the party.

Speaking further, he assured all leaders, party faithful that this new state working committee shall improve steadily, better and stronger on the people's democratic party PDP grassroot structures, build a more robust working relationship amongst party faithful, leaders, legislature and executive, in order to strengthen and sustain the existing peace, love and unity of the party so that we will continue to take total control of the state politics, he asserted.

Thereafter, he advised all party leaders and faithful seeking to contest in 2023 to self caution and maintain peace and unity of the party, as it's too early to throw out the wing bells and beating the political drums in this second term of our dear Governor, Sen. (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa led administration, that he still has alot to do for Deltans before 2023.

Moreover, he assured all party members contesting for the forthcoming local government area election of a peaceful, free and faire party processes as seen in 2017, he also encouraged them to be more sportsmanship and grassroot friendly than unnecessarily hitting the polity at the LGAs, he said.

He said local govt election is mainly for the people, grassroot development and youth leadership building in most nations. So he assured all levels playing ground to all members contesting to be in any political position in the party PDP.

He thanked the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Security agents and the press for their unalloyed support and cooperation's all through the exercise.

Finally, he assured his boss, the Executive Governor of Delta state, Sen. (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa of his usual commitment, dedication and total loyalty to the party PDP, leaders and party faithful whom are his biggest family in order to sustain the existing capacity of political control in the state.
