In a post on X, the Prime Minister expressed solidarity with the bereaved families and stressed that such heinous acts will never succeed in breaking the nation’s spirit.

The Indian Army also issued a strong message, stating, “For acts against India, the response is assured. Justice will be served. Always.”

The attack, which took place on April 22, 2025, saw terrorists target civilians, most of them tourists, in south Kashmir—one of the most shocking incidents in recent years.

In response, India launched a military operation on May 7, targeting terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, signaling a firm stance against cross-border terrorism.
