Mr. Nir Shah,

Neer Bikram Shah, also known as Nir Shah, is a senior Nepalese movie actor, a poet, lyricist, movie director, business and a loving family man. He is considered as one of the leading & respected personality in Nepali cinema history with multiple identities.
A producer / co-producer of many Nepali movies, He has also directed several Nepali movies and have produced big Hit movies likes Basudev, Pachchis Basanta, Basanti, Rajamati and one of our personal favorite from the book of history, Seto Bagh.

First head and founder of Nepal’s 1st television broadcasting organization, “Nepal TV” He is also one of the co-producer of the Oscar nominated film Himalaya – l'enfance d'un chef, also known as Caravan (in Canada) and Himalaya (in Denmark and France). It was the first film from Nepal to win an Oscar nomination.

He has played many characters and has appeared in a few Bollywood movies as a guest artist. A successful business man, Nir sir has also penned down many Nepali and Nepal Bhasa songs and scriptwriting for few of his films and have won many awards & recognition here and abroad.
