Jakub Metelka (b. 1986, Czech Republic) is a pianist, composer, and educator known for his lyrical, imaginative piano music. A graduate of the Prague Conservatory and winner of the Concertino Praga competition, he has dedicated his career to creating expressive yet accessible works for pianists of all levels. His collections — including Little Virtuoso, Modern Piano Studies, and The Secret Garden — are beloved by teachers and students worldwide for their beauty and playability. Metelka continues to compose and teach in the Czech Republic, inspiring a new generation of young pianists.
