Invisalign is a series of clear plastic aligners that gradually straighten your teeth with use.
We have our patients wear each aligner set for 7 days.
Of the course of those 7 days, the plastic applies forces to the teeth to push and pull them to fit the mold of the plastic.
Once the teeth have adapted to the aligner shape completely, it’s time to move on to the next aligner set.
This process is repeated until all of your teeth are straight and you have the smile you want.
Important factors to consider:
1) The Invisalign expertise of your orthodontist;
2) Proper teeth and bite diagnosis during your consultation;
3) How good your customized Invisalign smile design is made (your orthodontist does this; see point one above);
4) Your consistent and diligent use of the aligners to ensure your teeth are straightening as designed.
