✳️ ACCUSED GHANSHYAM @ LALA & VIMAL @ VICKY FOUND LINKED TO 07 AND 13 CRIMINAL CASES RESPECTIVELY

✳️ BOTH ACCUSED ARRESTED FOR VIOLATING EXTERNMENT ORDERS ISSUED BY ADDL. DCP-I/SWD

The staff of Operations Cell, South-West District has arrested two notorious criminals namely Ghanshyam @ Lala (age 34 yrs) & Vimal @ Vicky (age 35 yrs) who are repeated offenders involved in multiple cases of Delhi Excise Act, Arms Act, Gambling Act, and NDPS Act. Both were found violating externment orders passed against them.

INFORMATION, TEAM & ARREST:
The team of Operations Cell has been actively keeping surveillance on bootleggers, absconders, bad characters (BCs), and externed individuals to ensure safety and security of the residents. A dedicated team comprising SI Kamal Kant, HC Shish Ram, HC Dilip, HC Rajkumar, HC Anil, HC Mukesh, Ct. Bablu & Ct. Sunny was constituted under the supervision of Insp. Hari Singh, I/C Anti-Snatching Cell and overall guidance of Sh. Vijay Singh Tomar, ACP/Operations.

On 04.09.2025, the team received secret information regarding the presence of two externed criminals. Acting swiftly, both accused persons Ghanshyam @ Lala R/o Ruchi Vihar, Rangpuri, Delhi and Vimal @ Vicky R/o Rajnagar-II, Palam, Delhi were apprehended.

During enquiry, it revealed that accused Ghanshyam @ Lala was externed for 01 year by Addl. DCP-I/SWD vide order dated 10.06.2025 & accused Vimal @ Vicky was externed for 02 years vide order dated 05.01.2024. In violation of the externment orders, both were found residing within the jurisdiction of PS Vasant Kunj South and PS Palam respectively. Accordingly, legal action was initiated against them under Section 53/116 of the Delhi Police Act.

Both the accused were produced before the concerned Court. The accused Vimal @ Vicky was remanded to two days’ judicial custody, while Ghanshyam @ Lala was released on bail by the Hon’ble Court.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED ARRESTED:
1. Accused Ghanshyam @ Lala (Age 34 yrs) is previously involved in 09 cases under Delhi Excise Act of PS Vasant Kunj South.

2. Accused Vimal @ Vicky (Age 35 yrs) is previously involved in 13 cases under Excise Act, Arms Act, Gambling Act, and NDPS Act.
