The video contains a short demonstration of our Control System - I Laboratory (EEE 402) project "Speed control of a DC Motor deployed on a smart car". We are really thankful to our honourable course teacher, Soumitra Roy Joy for accepting our proposal to do the project and inspire us to take the project to completion.
In this project, we have used sonar in the front panel of the smart car chassis to detect obstacles that are in front of the car and based on the sonar data, low-level Arduino Code implements the control system algorithm that controls the speed of the DC motors attached to it. Later on, the speed is also shown in MATLAB graph by transferring the Arduino data to the computer via Bluetooth.
