1 आशीर्वाद विधि | Bengali Shaadi ki Rasme
तब दुल्हन के परिवारवाले दूल्हे के घर जाते हैं, जहां वे उस पर अपना आशीर्वाद बरसाते हैं। वे होने वाले दूल्हा और दुल्हन पर ट्रेफिल के पत्ते और भूसी वाले चावल छिड़कते हैं और उन्हें सोने के गहने उपहार में देते हैं।

3. Aiburo-bhaat – The Last Meal as Unmarried
This Bengali wedding tradition involves feeding the bride and the groom their last bachelor meals in their respective home
ऐ बुरो वात : जैसा कहा गया है कि यह एकल जीवन का आखिरी चावल है। दूल्हा और दुल्हन को उनके परिवार द्वारा सर्वोत्तम प्रकार का भोजन दिया जाता है।

The girl usually wears a new white saree with red borders and is served the meal before sunrise which usually comprises of dodhi (meaning yogurt) and Khoi (a kind of puffed rice).
Ganga Nimontron – Bengali Wedding Rituals
The Mother of the Bride wakes up before dawn and go to the Ganga or a nearby water body and ask the Goddess Ganga to bless the couple and come to their wedding ceremony. They carry a brass pot (Kolshi) and fill it up with water from the pond or river and return home.

गे होलुद (हल्दी लगाना): दूल्हा और दुल्हन को उनके घर में हल्दी, चंदन आदि पहनाएं और भावी जोड़े को आशीर्वाद देने के लिए शादी का आवश्यक सामान और उपहार सखा (चूड़ियाँ), सिन्दूर (सिंदूर), मछली आदि भेजें।
8.Bor Jatri (Baraat)‘Bor Jatri,’ or baraat, is the groom’s joyous procession to the wedding, where his beautifully dressed friends and families sing and dance till they reach the entrance of the wedding venue.
9.Bor Boron – Welcoming the Groom
बंगाली शादी में दूल्हे का स्वागत
बोरो बोरॉन (Boro Boron) वह रस्म है, जिसमें बरन डाला (baran dala) नामक एक प्लेट को दूल्हे के माथे पर, फिर जमीन पर और फिर से उसके माथे पर छुआ जाता है। इसके बाद दुल्हन की मां आरती करती है और मेहमानों का आयोजन स्थल में स्वागत करती है और मिठाई परोसी जाती है।
विवाह : शुवो दृष्टि (पहली बार आँख मिलाकर आशीर्वाद देना), माला बोडोल (हार बदलना), शुद्धि (मानसिक शुद्धि), गतबंधन (हाथ और दुपट्टा बांधना), कोन्नदान (पिता द्वारा दुल्हन के गोत्र को स्थानांतरित करना) जैसे अनुष्ठानों की एक पूरी श्रृंखला दूल्हे), जोग्गो और मोनट्रो उच्चरोन (अग्नि आशीर्वाद और मंत्रोच्चार), सिदुर (सिंदूर लगाना), फेरा (अग्नि की परिक्रमा करना) आदि।

10.बंगाली शादी में दूल्हे के फेरे लेती है दुल्हन
‘सात पाक’ केवल एक बंगाली शादी में देखा जाने वाला एक सुंदर दृश्य है, जहां दुल्हन लकड़ी के स्टूल पर बैठती है, जिसे ‘पिडी’ कहा जाता है और उसके भाइयों या चाचाओं द्वारा मंडप में ले जाया जाता है।
Saat Paak takes place right after the bride is carried to the wedding mandap while she keeps her face covered with two betel leaves. Usually, the brothers or cousins carry her in a Peerhi or wooden seat (somewhat similar to a Butta wedding), and that's when they take seven rounds around the groom. Once this Saat Paak is over, the bride and the groom look at each other three times on Shubho Drishti.
11.बंगाली शादी में शुभो दृष्टि
सात फेरे लेने के बाद दुल्हन अपने चेहरे के सामने से भृंग के पत्तों को हटाती है और अंत में अपने दूल्हे की ओर देखती है। सभी मेहमानों की उपस्थिति में दूल्हा और दुल्हन के बीच प्यार से भरी पहली नज़र का आदान-प्रदान ‘शुभो दृष्टि’ (Subho Dristi) कहलाता है।
12. Mala Bodol – Exchange of Garland
शुभो दृष्टि के बाद, दूल्हा और दुल्हन फूलों की माला एक-दूसरे को पहनाते हैं। इस दौरान दुल्हन पिडी पर बैठी हुई रहती है। वे तीन बार माला का आदान-प्रदान करते हैं और एक-दूसरे को पति-पत्नी के रूप में स्वीकार करने के पहले कदम की ओर आगे बढ़ते हैं। ये रस्म बंगाली शादियों में ‘माला बादल’ कहलाती है।
13.बंगाली शादी में कन्यादान
जय माला के बाद दूल्हा-दुल्हन वेदी पर बैठते हैं। इसके बाद जो आदमी दूल्हे को ‘पोटो बस्त्र’ देता है, वही दुल्हन का हाथ दूल्हे के हाथ में देता है। फिर उनके हाथों को एक पवित्र धागे से बांध दिया जाता है और पुजारी वैदिक मंत्रों का पाठ करते हैं। हिंदू शादियों में जहां इसे कन्यादान कहा जाता है, बंगाली शादियों में इस रस्म को ‘संप्रदान’ (Sampardaan) कहा जाता है।
(Saptapadi) या ‘सात पाक’ (Saat Paak) कहा जाता है। दूल्हा-दुल्हन को अपने पैर की उंगलियों से सात पान के पत्तों पर रखी सात सुपरियों को छूना होता है।
