My family has been getting absolutely hammered by a seemingly relentless stream of tragedies over the past months and, particularly, within the past thirty days. I sincerely hope that none of you experience such an unceasing stream of terrible news. The hardest news hit Monday night when I was up at the mine you see in this video, but that was not the bottom as more devastating news came in from overseas last night.

If I could give all of you one thing from my experience: don’t postpone doing things with your loved ones - whether it is a fun trip you’ve talked about or something you wanted to show them... Don’t put off asking things you wanted to ask them. Don’t forget to tell them that you love them. Don’t assume that they’ll always be there or that you have many more years with them…
