Do you want to give your Harley a deeper, more throaty tone?
In this video we'll show you the method we used to de-assemble some Harley Breakout mufflers and modify the internal baffle.. and once re-assembled and installed, what the modified mufflers sound like.
Quite a simple process - once the baffle was removed, we drilled and punched out the central baffle plate. This allows the central 1inch pipe to free flow while still retaining most of the stock baffling.
If this is something you'd like to do - don't forget you'll need a long 5 to 7mm drill bit and a long punch to do this same modification, as well as some general garage tools.
Once done simply reassemble in the reverse process to pulling them apart. Wrap the baffles back up again, slip them inside the muffler, and then rivet in the same place again using the old holes. Works a treat :)
