Everyone loves Jurassic Park and most agree The Lost World is… divisive. But Jurassic Park III? It’s the black sheep—the punchline. But what if I told you it's actually underrated?

Sure, it doesn’t have the Spielberg touch, and yeah, the talking raptor dream is... a choice. But JP3 does a lot right. It trims the fat, brings back the sense of adventure, and gives us one of the most tightly paced creature features in the franchise. Joe Johnston leans into the pulpy survival thriller vibe, and it works. Alan Grant’s reluctant return, the Spinosaurus as a new apex predator, and that brutal aviary sequence? Still holds up.
