Описание: Part I: Built primarily during the Nasrid period (13th–15th centuries), the Alhambra functioned as a fortified palace-city where sovereignty depended on control — of space, access, sound, movement, and water. Its architecture is inward-facing, hierarchical, and deliberately restrained, projecting authority without scale or spectacle. Part II of this series turns outward — to the Generalife park and summer palace — to show how pleasure, agriculture, and hydraulic engineering sustained this fragile court beyond the walls. Part III documents our hike in the Alhambra's backyard - formerly, part of the royal estate. # Alhambra, Alhambra Granada, Granada Spain, Nasrid Kingdom, Nasrid architecture, Islamic architecture Spain, Moorish architecture, Al Andalus, Andalusia travel, Spain travel, Granada travel, palace architecture, medieval architecture, art history, Islamic art, water engineering, acequia, Court of the Lions, Court of the Myrtles, Alcazaba, fortress city, history of Spain, Reconquista, UNESCO World Heritage
