I was lucky enough to spend time with Renato on two occasions - whilst filming my documentary on "Flash Gordon" - LIFE AFTER FLASH, as well as my documentary on "The NeverEnding Story" - LIFE AFTER THE NEVERENDING STORY.

It was during my second trip to Italy, that I decided to film this short documentary on the work he did for Quentin Tarantino's ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD.

Life After the Navigator celebrates the 1986 classic from Randal Kleiser Flight of the Navigator starring Joey Cramer, Paul Reubens, Sarah Jessica Parker, Veronica Cartwright, Cliff de Young and also music by Alan Silvestri. The documentary looks at the life of Joey Cramer including the highly publicised Joey Cramer bank robbery and what led to such a crime.
