When I first learned from DCF that I was being accused of sexual abuse of my significant other's daughter, I felt like I got hit by a truck. I kind of just collapsed onto the kitchen floor in disbelief. I couldn't believe that this was happening. I was trying to think of ways that would help me. I wanted to look for a lawyer to see what my options were because this was the first time that I ever been accused of anything. I never even had a speeding ticket.

The first thing I did was, I Googled lawyers that would represent someone that was being falsely accused of sexual abuse. And I was going through everybody's reviews and I came across Kevin Seaver, who through all the testimonies that I seen, he worked with a lot of people that were being accused of sexual abuse, from DCF. After calling a few of them, I came across Kevin Seaver, and I called him and he got right back to me. And he met me that same day. I called him on a Saturday, on a day off thinking that I wasn't going to be able to get ahold of anybody until Monday. And he called me back and he met me within a couple hours.

I met Attorney Seaver at his office. And it was an off day work and he met me and he listened to my story and he told me, this is what I needed to do. We had DCF coming for a interview on that Monday, and he took on my case. He told me, this is the steps that was going to happen. These are the things that they're going to do when they come. And he prepared me for that day. So, after talking to Attorney Seaver, he set up a plan for me, told me when DCF was coming in on Monday, that this is the questions DCF was going to ask. This is the allegations that were serious against you and what the outcome could be.
