We attempted 11 times Mt Whitney in five Off Seasons from November through March (no permit lottery). We reached the summit only five times due to various unpredicted and tough weather and route conditions. Also some of our teammates had no mountaineering experience which, of course, influenced the turn around decisions. This video contains highlights of these attempts . In any case, we had lots of fun and incredible adventures and memories lasting forever. Notice, conditions in November are the most unpredictable.
