Celebrating 200 years of the modern railway, Alstom hosted a once-in-a-generation festival at its Derby Litchurch Works in August 2025 – The Greatest Gathering.
From Locomotion No. 1 to a Derby-built Aventra, over 140 historic and modern rail vehicles were assembled; the largest of its kind in history.
Over 40,000 people from around the world visited this record-breaking event that was spread across 90 acres.
