By air we reached Gilgit then transferred through Jeeps to Shimshal it was 8 hour drive from Gilgit to Shimshal
We did hike to Shimshal Pass its altitude is 4735 meters
Had an amazing experience of yak safari
We witnessed cooch, in coach one can see 100's yaks of different colours, during winter they bring their Yak's down to the pass and Shimshal village
In summer Yak's lives on Shimshal Pass because it can live in cold weather can't survive in hot weather.
Services+food was outstanding, you will see in the video.
Our Cook was Wajid from Shimshal he made variety of dishes there with nice presentation which no one can expect there in the mountains.
HAP's were also from Shimshal.
