In this video: We have been fascinated by the next Sachin Tendulkar for quite some time. As cricket lovers we see Tendulkar in every talented young boy.
I met a 13-year-old cricketer with the name of Abhigyan Kundu who has started showing signs and has already miraculously scored 21,000 runs, 70 centuries, 103 half centuries, 6 double tons with 457 being his highest.
For me who has been following the sport keenly since my sports journalism days and someone who has covered all school records from Sarfaraz Khan (439), Arman Jaffer (498, 473), Prithvi Shaw (546) and Pranav Dhanawade (1009), this is another astonishing record from Kundu who has scored at all age group levels in private and recognised tournaments.
It is still unbelievable to me, but the records stored with his coach Chetan Jadhav is the proof of his.
