Описание: Imagining the delicate touch of luminary pianists like Bill Evans over the Flamenco rhythm of Soleares is what brought about this composition that Margolis named 'Sweet Street Blues'.  Spanish pianist and former Blue Note artist, Chano Domínguez, solos over a traditional blues progression while Ethan Margolis, Carlos Henríquez and Obed Calvaire accompany in the 12/8 rhythm of the Soleá found in Flamenco.  Henríquez is featured with the second solo on upright bass and Margolis follows with a new movement that departs from the previous musical theme into a funky, soul-jazz motif.

Particularly notable in the composition are the 3 major influences denoted by its sections - sounds and interpretations come together rooted in the musical influences of jazz legends such as Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson, George Benson, Grant Green and more.  The result is something sweet for the street!
