Space Haven: How to Start, Alpha11 Ep1 Medium Difficulty, Basic Platform Let's Play Gameplay

Описание: Space Haven was on sale on Steam a while back and i was looking for a space game that was fun and does stuff a bit diffrently and even though the game is in alpha development stage it delivers on some many aspects.
So i consider the game a lot of fun at least while teching up, for every decision has so much impact that is why i would like to introduce you guys to it on my channel. We are not really getting far in the first episode but i hope i was able to show the games depth in at least a few aspects.
I picked medium difficulty for it provides some really challenging gameplay esspecially without having the support of the abandoned mining station at your disposal which is why i choose to pick the basic platform as the start of this let's play. I consider it also as a beginners guide with a few tips inside leading up to a ship design concept over the course of the series.

The devs compare Space Haven to titles like "Rimworld" and "Oxygen Not Included" all titles i didn't play but Space Haven is just such a captivating game, while being in early access so there is still loads of potential.
Een though the graphics might be considered simple i really enjoy the looks of it and it is all about the actual gameplay not the visual representation.

The easy to learn hard to master aspects are present and what i personally really enjoy is the amount and level of difficulties you have to pay attenton to constantly. With the alpha 10 they introduced the techtree which means for a fair amount of stuff you are battleing against the time for you would like to solve all the starting inefficiencies but because of the techtree you can not adress them all at the same time. So you have to make decisions, like would i rather switch quicker to a more efficient form of generating energy or would you prefer to ensure your crew is able to keep itself fed running out of energy crystals called energium but also running out of food.
I am aware that i could not cover this constant struggle in this first episode yet so i'll focus more on that in later episodes but the end goal is to build a fleet using up all our shippoints (still wondering why these are limited but on the other hand why not) and at least reaching one of the possible endings the game offers which include finding the new earth like planet called Eden, eradicating all alien presence from the universe, or ending slavery or ... We'll see where the journey takes us.
