Join us for our 2nd falls prevention awareness webinar to explore the World Falls Guidelines where the power of exercise, recommendations for long term health conditions, and other risk factors and interventions will be explored.
Falls prevention includes how providers can be proactive to ensure that individuals return to baseline, regain confidence, and get back to the things they enjoy, changing from task based to outcome based personalised care, preventing deconditioning of individuals.
Be in the know with the current guidance in falls prevention and how you can be proactive when managing falls.
Objectives
• Have the awareness of the current World Falls Guidelines.
• Understand the evidence-based research towards exercise, long term health conditions and other falls risk factors.
• Understand how to prevent against severe injuries and how to promote better health outcomes for those you support.
