Skye and I adopted Peyton, a rescued English Bulldog after a lengthy adoption approval process. We have previously owned English Bulldogs, so we have experience with the breed and dog ownership.
Unfortunately, we were not prepared for the aggression shown toward Skye. And we dismissed several "red flags" discussed during our adoption meeting that are now easier to see.
We wholeheartedly wish the best for all rescue dogs, and we have great respect for those who have the time, patience and resources to adopt full grown animals with special needs.
