אנו שונים בגאוה

רדפנו את עבדיך

והחלפנו את האמת בשקר

(And exchanged truth for lies)

חפשנו כבוד באדם

(We sought honor in man)

(More than the glory of Yeshua)

אתה החזרת לנו את הארץ

(You restored the land to us)

ואנחנו שכחנו את החסד

(But we forgot the mercy)

(But there is no peace there)

כי לא הלכנו אחרי ישוע

(For we have not followed Yeshua)

שמך נשגב בגוים
Shimkha nisgav bagoim
(Your name is exalted among the nations)

אבל לא העדינו כראוי
Aval lo heedinu kara’uy
(But we did not testify as we should)

הוצאת אותנו ממצרים

(You brought us out of Egypt)

והשיבותנו לארץ

(And became righteous in our own eyes)
