Narendra Modi and Emmanuel Macron will inaugurate India’s first helicopter final assembly line via videoconference from Mumbai. The facility is a joint venture between Tata Group and Airbus, located in Vemagal near Bengaluru.
The plant will manufacture the Airbus H125, one of the world’s most popular single-engine helicopters. The move marks a major milestone in India’s aerospace and defence manufacturing ambitions.
France has emphasized that the initiative will deepen strategic cooperation with India and expand economic and trade partnerships, reinforcing India’s emergence as a global manufacturing hub.
