Welcome back to Hundred Mile Prep — Week 7, Day 1.
This episode is about a truth many believers don’t want to face: God forgives, but consequences are real.
As I open the Word in Second Samuel, the life of King David makes something unmistakably clear. Yes, God is merciful. Yes, God forgives when repentance is genuine. Yes, David was sealed by God. But forgiveness does not erase earthly consequences.
David killed Bathsheba’s husband. He tried to hide it. God forgave him — but David still had to pay a price here on earth. His family suffered. His household was divided. Violence followed violence. What David loved most was touched, one by one.
That is the reality of iniquity and transgression.
This video is a reminder for believers who claim to be filled with the Holy Spirit, yet knowingly continue in sin. When you know something is wrong and choose it anyway, there is a price point. Not because God is cruel — but because God is just.
David’s story from chapters 13 through 20 shows us that salvation does not mean immunity from discipline. Being sealed by the Holy Spirit does not mean you escape accountability. It means you are held to a higher standard.
The lesson is simple but heavy:
👉 When discernment tells you to walk away — walk away.
👉 When conviction speaks — listen.
👉 Don’t confuse grace with permission.
From there, the day continues with real discipline — strength training done the right way, not ego lifting, not destroying the body, but preparing it. Warm-ups matter. Progress matters. Recovery matters. Especially when training for something as demanding as a 100-mile race.
I break down why you don’t need endless sets, why four to five exercises are enough, and why overtraining is stupidity, not toughness. Discipline isn’t about punishment — it’s about preparation.
You’ll also see practical tools that make a difference, like wrist straps for front squats when mobility is limited. Little things add up to major outcomes — in the gym and in life.
The day doesn’t stop there. It continues with fatherhood, one-on-one work with Mia, cycling, possible transition runs, and finally basketball — teaching, competing, laughing, and sharpening skill the right way.
This is not content built for comfort.
This is life lived with intention.
If you believe faith should change how you train, how you parent, how you coach, and how you live — this episode is for you.
👉 Grace does not cancel consequences
👉 Discipline is love in action
👉 Obedience protects what you value
👉 Truth requires responsibility
